This Agreement governs all labor, materials, equipment, and services provided by Arvada Electric LLC (“Contractor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) to the undersigned client (“Client,” “you,” or “Owner”) for the property identified in the associated Estimate, Proposal, or Work Authorization (“Job Address”).

By signing the Estimate or Work Authorization, Client acknowledges and agrees to all Terms and Conditions contained herein. This Agreement applies to all projects, regardless of scope, size, or location, and supersedes all prior agreements, written or oral, between the parties.

INVOICE & PAYMENT TERMS

Payment Due
All invoices are due upon completion of work unless otherwise explicitly agreed in writing. Work will not be considered complete until Contractor has performed all services described in the Scope of Work, has made the premises safe, and has removed all tools, debris, and leftover materials.
Deposits & Progress Payments

For smaller projects, payment is due in full upon completion unless otherwise agreed.
For larger projects (remodels, additions, new construction, basement finishes, or projects requiring significant material procurement), payments are required as follows unless stated otherwise:
\n50% deposit at contract execution or material order, to secure project scheduling and purchase of materials.
\n30% progress payment at rough-in, or as otherwise outlined in the project plan.
\n20% final payment upon completion of work and prior to final sign-off.

Payment Methods
We accept cash, check, and credit/debit cards. Payments returned unpaid by the bank will incur a $25 fee.
Late Fees & Interest

Late payments accrue interest as follows:
\n5% of the outstanding balance for payments 30 days past due
\n10% of the outstanding balance for payments 60 days past due, or the maximum permitted by Colorado law, whichever is less
Contractor reserves the right to suspend work or refuse access to the job site for nonpayment without liability.

Collections & Lien Rights
Client agrees that Contractor may file a mechanic’s lien under Colorado law for any unpaid balance. Client further agrees to pay all costs associated with collection, including reasonable attorney’s fees, court costs, collection agency fees, and filing fees.

Pricing & Payment Terms

All prices, estimates, or promotional materials listed on the Contractor’s website are approximate and are not binding unless confirmed in writing.
Payment terms for services booked online are governed by this Agreement and the associated Estimate or Work Authorization.

Booking & Appointments

Online or phone service requests do not constitute confirmed bookings.
A booking is considered confirmed only once Contractor has verified availability and received any required deposit.
Cancellation or rescheduling must be communicated in accordance with Section 3.7 below.

Intellectual Property Rights

All content on the Contractor’s website, including logos, business names, images, designs, text, graphics, and other materials, is owned by Arvada Electric LLC.
Reproduction, distribution, or commercial use without written authorization is prohibited.

Privacy Policy

Any personal information collected via the website is used solely to provide services and process payments.
Contractor does not share personal information with third parties except as necessary to provide services or comply with the law.

Service Agreement Online

All work requested via the website is governed by this Agreement. Use of the website to request services constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

CONTRACT TERMS & CONDITIONS

Scope of Services

Contractor shall provide labor, materials, and services strictly as described in the Estimate, Proposal, or Work Authorization (“Scope of Work”).
Any work outside the Scope of Work requires a written Change Order approved by Client. Verbal instructions or directives may be relied upon and billed accordingly.

Materials & Supplies

Contractor provides all materials and supplies unless otherwise specified.
Any client-supplied materials are not warranted, and Contractor is not responsible for compatibility or defects.

Warranties & Guarantees

\nWorkmanship Warranty: Contractor warrants all workmanship for one (1) year from the date of completion.
\nMaterials Warranty: Manufacturer warranties govern all materials provided by Contractor.
Warranty coverage is contingent upon full payment of all sums due.

Client Responsibilities
Client agrees to:

Provide safe and unobstructed access to the work site.
Remove or protect personal property near the work area.
Notify Contractor of any known conditions that may affect the work, including pre-existing defects or unsafe conditions.

Safety Requirements
Contractor follows standard industry safety practices. Client acknowledges that construction and electrical work involve hazards. Contractor may halt work if unsafe conditions are present until the site is made safe.
Insurance & Liability

Contractor carries liability insurance.
Contractor is not liable for pre-existing conditions, cosmetic or incidental damage, or damages caused by third parties.

Cancellations & Work Stoppage
Cancellations:

Client must provide a 24-hour notice for cancellations.
Any schedule changes must be communicated by 5:00 PM the day before the scheduled service.
Failure to provide adequate notice will result in a $50 late cancellation fee, which will be added to the invoice or collected separately.

Work Stoppage:

If Client directs Contractor to stop work after work has commenced, Client shall pay for all labor, materials, equipment, and costs incurred up to that point.
Client further agrees to indemnify Contractor for any damages, delays, or additional costs caused by the work stoppage, including but not limited to: code violations, unsafe conditions, or additional material handling.

ESTIMATE TERMS & CONDITIONS

Estimated Price

Estimates reflect Contractor’s good faith approximation of the cost to complete the work described in visible and reported conditions at the time of inspection.

Validity

Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated in writing.

Client Authorization & Acceptance

Work cannot begin without Client’s signed approval of the Estimate or Work Authorization.
Signing constitutes authorization to proceed and a binding agreement under Colorado law.

Changes in Project Scope

Any modifications to the Scope of Work constitute a Change Order and may result in additional charges and/or extended timelines.
Contractor will notify Client of additional costs for unforeseen conditions prior to proceeding.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes relating to estimates, costs, or project scope shall first be submitted to mediation before litigation.
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Colorado.

Residential & Commercial
